APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING CHARGING AMOUNT OF COAL IN COKING CHAMBER OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling charging amount of coal in a coking chamber of a coke oven is provided to control the charging amount of coal charged into the coking chamber by determining an appropriate amount of charging coal corresponding to a target charging level of the coking chamber in the coke oven. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for controlling charging amount of coal in a coking chamber of a coke oven in iron manufacturing process producing coke through thermal decomposition operation after charging coal into the coking chamber, the apparatus comprises a moisture detection means(51) detecting moisture of coal to be charged; a charging level detection means(52) detecting a charging level at a charging port for coal charged into the coking chamber; a charging amount detection means(53) detecting a charging amount of coal charged into the coking chamber; a data storage means(55) storing data per each coking chambers by receiving the detected moisture of coal, charging level of the charging port and charging amount; a calculation means(56) calculating multiple regression analysis constants applied to each coking chambers through the multiple regression analysis using the stored data; a multiple regression analysis constant storage means(57) storing the calculated multiple regression analysis constants applied to each of the coking chambers; a charging coal amount calculation means(58) calculating charging coal amounts of the coking chambers to be charged in the following batch using the stored multiple regression analysis constants, a target charging level of the charging port and moisture of charging coal; and a charging coal amount control means(59) controlling a charging coal amount so that the coal is charged correspondingly to the calculated charging coal amount.
