PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying molten metal for a continuous caster is provided to prevent clogging of a molten steel supplying path causing casting stop, drift and flow instability, and improve productivity and quality of final products. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for supplying molten metal for a continuous caster comprising a tundish(20) supplying molten steel after storing the molten steel; a porous refractory material(28) installed on the lower surroundings of an opening part(26) to generate inert bubbles; a mounting bracket(30) installed at the lower part of the tundish(20); a sliding gate(32) installed at the inner side of the mounting bracket(30); a support bracket(42) connected to the mounting bracket(30); and a submerged nozzle supplying molten steel into a mold, the apparatus further comprises piezoelectric materials(50,60,70) installed at one or more positions selected from the surroundings of the porous refractory material(28) in the mounting bracket(30), the surroundings of a lower plate of the sliding gate(32), and the surroundings of an immersion valve(44) in the support bracket(42) so as to generate supersonic waves which can be transferred to the molten steel; and an oscillator(90) connected by wire(80) to supply power to each of the piezoelectric materials(50,60,70), wherein a cooling unit(100) is installed at the wire(80) to block heat transfer from the piezoelectric materials(50,60,70) to the oscillator(90).
