PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader capable of forming and erasing an image on and from a card using an area almost equal to a short directional width of the card or the whole surface as a display part, and proper in carrying performance of the card. SOLUTION: This card reader is a card reader provided with a card carrying passage, a carrying means for moving the card in the carrying passage, a guide arranged in the carrying passage, and regulating a position of the moving card, an image forming means for forming a visible image on the card, and an image erasing means for erasing the visible image formed on the card, and the guide is dividedly constituted in front and in the rear of the image forming means and the image erasure means. |
