PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-air battery having high security while reducing corrosion of the negative electrode and providing for a high rate of use of the negative electrode. SOLUTION: An air electrode is used as the positive electrode and aluminum or an aluminum alloy is used for the negative electrode and an anion exchange membrane or an anion exchange resin is used as the electrolyte intervening between the positive and negative electrodes to constitute the aluminum-air battery. The surface of the negative electrode in contact with the electrolyte is preferably provided with indentations. |
