PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high sensitive and highly reliable quantitative analysis in the analysis of an organic compound using the ion trap mass spectrometer. SOLUTION: After the ion of wide mass range containing the isotope peak has been isolated, multiple ions perform crash induction dissociation at the same time. The mass spectrum of the daughter ion is obtained. The ion current value of the original isotope peak of the daughter ion that is obtained is integrated. By comparing the isotope pattern of the daughter ion and the calculated value, the correctness of the analysis can be determined.
