PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electric vehicle to run with the same acceleration force at all times, regardless of a battery voltage by performing a correction, according to the voltage value of a battery, and also to eliminate the change of torque. SOLUTION: In the electric vehicle which drives a motor for running by controlling the output voltage of a mounted battery by a chopper control, the output voltage of the battery is detected, and the chopper duty of the motor is corrected, according to the detected voltage value.
