PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine of a simple constitution and easy handling capable of effectively saving energy, and preventing deterioration of contained merchandise due to long-time heating by cooling or heating part of the contained merchandise. SOLUTION: This vending machine is provided with a merchandise rack 77 inside a merchandise storage 66. It is provided with a first range 2c composed above the merchandise rack 77, a second range 2d composed below it to be cooled or heated, a first merchandise delivery device 1 provided between the ranges 2c and 2d to be normally closed to insulate heat between the ranges 2c and 2d, and carry out merchandise S in the first range 2c to the second range 2d, and a second merchandise delivery device 81 provided below the second range 2d to discharge the merchandise S in the second range 2d to a vending port 116. The first merchandise delivery device 1 and the second merchandise delivery device 81 have roughly similar constitution, and they do not require setting for sorts of merchandise to vend.
