PURPOSE: A part aligning device for chip mounter using mirror is provided to compensate for a part position recognition error of a mirror due to a residual vibration of the mirror automatically by forming a setup angle about a hinge point and a length of an arm in a revolving mirror member to offset a position variation of a part. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle(20) adsorbs a part(1). A mirror revolving unit(30) includes a revolving unit(31) which is located in a main body of a chip mounter, an arm(32) which revolves around a hinge point(H), and a revolving mirror member(33) which has a mirror(13). A mirror revolving device is set by a following equation R = 2D/(cosψ - sinψ), where in an R means the length of the arm(32), a D means the distance from the central point of the part(1) to the central point of the revolving mirror member(33) and a ψ means an angle between the hinge point(H), the central point of the revolving mirror member(33) and the central point of the part(1). A position variation detector(50) detects a position variation of the part(1).
