<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitting element in which convergence of electron orbit and improvement of electron emission efficiency are realized at the same time and a driving method of electron emitting element, and an electron source and an image forming device using this electron emitting element. SOLUTION: A scattering electron filter electrode (element electrode 6), which separates the scattered electrons and non-scattered electrons by being impressed with a lower electric potential than an element electrode 4, is arranged on the element electrode 4.</p> |
