PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system for receiving a WWW page which could not be received by a WWW browser by using an electronic mail. SOLUTION: When the WWW browser software 101 of a remote terminal cannot receive the WWW page, the preparation of a request electronic mail is instructed to a WWW page request electronic mail preparation part 110, which generates the request electronic mail concerning the WWW page, a linking destination, etc., and transmits it to a proxy server 400. Then, the information acquiring program 402 of the server 400 obtains the WWW page from a server 300, a WWW page analytic part 404 retrieves the linking destination, etc., and a mail handler 401 transmits an answering electronic mail including the WWW page, the linking destination, etc., to a remote terminal.
