PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion generator equipped with a novel mechanism different from a conventional one. SOLUTION: Cation and anion are generated by impressing direct current high voltage between a relatively large cathode and relatively small anode, and by promoting electric neutralization of cation at the cathode further than that of anion at the anode, only the anion is virtually obtained, and diffused by a fan.
