CONDUCTIVE CONNECTION METHOD OF FLAT CABLE AND ELECTRIC CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conductive connection method of a flat cable and an electric connector which well performs conductor connection of a flat cable with the electric connector in a stable state. SOLUTION: A flat cable 3 covering a flat conductor 1 with a tape-like insulating coating 2 is placed on a form crimper 5, an electric connector 4 with a plurality of crimp pieces 4a set in protrusion is pressed with an anvil 8 to pierce the crimp pieces 4a into the flat conductor 1 for electric conduction, and the crimp pieces 4a passing through the flat cable 3 are bend and formed with a mold crimper 5. Tip sides of the crimp pieces 4a are bend and formed with length of their protrusion from the flat cable 3 in the range of 50% to 5% of the length of the crimp pieces 4a.
