The container is used for the shipment of fresh products such as vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. Its design allows both cooling or heating of the products contained in it by the circulation of a gas flow across its walls. The container comprises a base, walls and a cover. The base is mounted on a palette (1) and includes an upper (2) and a lower (3) part and an upper plate (14). The lower part (2) has surrounding walls (5) and folded side walls (12), and the upper part (3), relatively, walls (8 and 11). In the upper part (3) a hole (10) is fabricated, and under it, on the lower part (2) a device for moving the gas (air) - a radial fan (13) is fitted. The container walls are of corrugated cardboard with hollows across which the gas passes in an ascending and descending direction. 29 claims, 21 figures
