PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing data access speed and storage efficiency in a RAID system. SOLUTION: In the RAID system, a data allocation ratio between RAID levels where data access speed and storage efficiency are optimized is obtained. Data between high speed RAID and low speed RAID is shifted little by little. Thus, the method is prevented from becoming the obstacle of system performance. |
