PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shocks from occurring on a vehicle by preventing loss of torque, when there is a changeover, even if several instances of regenerative braking take place at the same time. SOLUTION: Having two or more kinds of regenerative braking functions, this regenerative brake control device for an electric vehicle drives a traveling motor by supplying electric power from a battery mounted on a car body. Under the conditions that the two or more regenerative braking functions work at the same time, a regenerative braking function by which the largest braking torque is obtainable is given priority to be selected among the two or more kinds of the regenerative braking functions.
