摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling coating amount on a strip in hot dipping galvanizing process is provided to accurately control the coating amount adhered onto the strip by directly measuring the coating amount used at a time point when plating is carried out without using of an ordinary coating amount measuring sensor. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling coating amount on a strip in hot dipping galvanizing process comprises a subsidiary zinc pot(6) which is connected and installed so that the subsidiary zinc pot(6) supplies a plating solution to a main zinc pot(1) through which the strip(2) passes so as to be coated with the plating solution; a mold level auto controller(12) which is connected and installed between the pots(1,6) so as to constantly maintain a mold level(4) of the main zinc pot(1) by controlling the plating solution injected into the main zinc pot(1) from the subsidiary zinc pot(6); and an air knife(5) ejecting air onto the strip(2) so that the coating amount adhered onto the strip corresponds to a coating amount requested by consumers according to the plating solution that is injected into the main zinc pot(1) after being controlled by the mold level auto controller(12).
