PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add clothing performance to a recordable-reproducible magnetic layer area in a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: This magnetic recording medium is composed of a nonmagnetic support 2, a magnetic layer 3, arranged on this nonmagnetic support 2, and a writing area 4 arranged on a surface of the magnetic layer 3, and the ratio P/B of a main component pigment P to a binder B of the writing layer 4 is set to 10 or less. |
