PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document distributing system providing confirmation to a distribution source that an electronic document has been positively delivered to a distribution destination, and specification of the distribution source, the distribution destination and the electronic document. SOLUTION: A user terminal and a service provider device are connected by an encrypted path via the electronic document intermediary device. The service provider device sends an electronic document addressed to a user to the electronic document intermediary device. The electronic document intermediary device puts a digital signature on the electronic document, stores it in a communication content storing DB and sends a document reception notice to the user terminal. The user logs on to the electronic document intermediary device by connecting an IC card storing authentication information to the user terminal, and the user terminal receives the document reception notice and it sends a document reception demand. The electronic document intermediary device sends the electronic document to the user terminal and it stores in an access record DB that the user has accessed the electronic document. The user terminal receives the electronic document from the communication content storing DB. The service provider device is provided with means of accessing to the access record DB and browsing an electronic document access record of the user. |
