METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR IDENTIFYING CURVED SURFACE MODEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently identify a curved-surface model with high precision. SOLUTION: The identifying method which identifies an (n)-dimensional curved surface model approximating the relation among (n) (n: integer larger than 2) kinds of variables by using a computer executes a step 102 for computing the distance between pieces of data in an (n-1)-dimensional space defined by (n-1) kinds of variables among (n) kinds of variables whose data have been collected, a step 103 for computing green function values corresponding to respective computed distances, and a step 104 for computing the (n)- dimensional curved surface model from one kind of data obtained by excluding (n-1) kinds from the collected data and the green function values.
