METHOD FOR PLAYING DVD AUDIO DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DVD(digital video disk) audio disk on which sampled digital audio signals can be recorded in a linear PCM(pulse code modulation) system till the number of channels which is restricted in accordance with the transfer rate of data. SOLUTION: In the audio-title setting directory which is positioned in the disk information area of this DVD audio disk, location information of AMGs(audio managers) are recorded and location information of respective audio titles of the disk are recorded in the AMGs and the audio titles are constituted by connecting continuously an ATSI-MAT(automatic transfer information modular allocation technique) and many AOBs(audio objects) and the disk is constituted of audio packs in which the decoding algorithm information related to an audio coding mode, first to third quantizing bits, first to third sampling frequencies and the number of audio channels is recorded in the audio stream attribute of the ATSI and audio data corresponding to the decoding algorithm recorded in the audio stream attribute are stored in the AOBs.
