APPARATUS FOR COMPENSATING DETECTED VALUES DURING AUTOMATIC SWITCHING OF ROLL GAP DETECTOR IN ROLLING MACHINE

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to compensate detected values according to a deviation of one side roll gap detector values and the other side roll gap detector values before the breakdown if the one side roll gap detector is automatically switched to the other side normal roll gap detector after one side roll gap detector is broken down. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for compensating detected values during automatic switching of a roll gap detector in a rolling machine comprises a deviation calculation part(110) calculating a deviation between detected values of a work side roll gap detector(114) and detected values of a driving side roll gap detector(116); a mark inverting judging part(130) judging whether or not to invert marks of the deviation according to whether the broken down detector belongs to the work side or the driving side; a selective mark inverting part(140) selectively inverting the marks of the received deviation according to mark inverting directions of the mark inverting judging part(130) by receiving the deviation; and a deviation compensation part(150) compensating the deviation to the roll gap detected values of the normal operated detector by receiving the deviation from the selective mark inverting part(140), wherein the apparatus further comprises a deviation holding part(120) holding the deviation outputted in the deviation calculation part(110) in case that all of the detectors of both sides are in the normal state.
