PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for a mobile unit that limits available functions of the mobile unit so as to contribute to the prevention of use of the mobile unit in a specific area. SOLUTION: The remote control system for the mobile unit is provided with a mobile phone 2 whose operating state of functions is selected by a control signal supplied through wireless communication in a vehicle 3 and with a remote controller 1 that wirelessly transmits the control signal to control the propriety of functions of the mobile phone 2 to the vehicle 3.
