While the size of electronic devices with a radio device therein has been decreasing, setup of a radio connection between such electronic devices is not simple and reliable. A radio system includes first radio devices the status of each of which changes when it receives a predetermined signal and a second radio device having an input device (11) for sequentially sending a status change command, as the predetermined signal, to change the status of all or part of the first radio devices so as to set up a radio connection. Information on the status change is outputted to the outside of the first radio devices that have received the status change command. From the information on the status change outputted to the outside, one of the first radio devices is determined as an object of radio connection.
