Disclosed is an oral composition effective against halitosis comprising extracts from the bark of Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews as an active ingredient, which is capable of inhibiting and eliminating substances causing oral malodor. The oral composition of the invention comprises extracts from the bark of Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews, a medicinal herb, as an active ingredient in addition to a conventional oral composition, thereby providing long lasting and powerful elimination and prevention effects against halitosis.
