<p>A discharge lamp includes a light transmissive envelope, a fill disposed within the light transmissive envelope, the fill producing a light discharge when excited, and an excitation structure for exciting the fill to produce the light discharge, wherein the fill includes a primary fill constituent of indium halide and a fill additive of a small amount of erbium. A two panel projection system utilizes the indium and erbium discharge lamp, with one panel dedicated to blue light and the other panel sequenced between red and green light.</p> |
