摘要 The invention relates to a method for detecting genes and DNA- sequences which code for the enzyme serine acetyltransferase (SAT) and are suitable for the production of cysteine by fermentation. The invention relates to a method for producing compounds containing sulphur such as cysteine, cystine and glutathione in bacteria and other host organisms by overexpression of SAT genes, wherein the host organism is disturbed in their own glutathoine synthesis.
