<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of solidified bricks with much improved compression strength compared with conventional clay bricks by using blast furnace sludge and solidifier as main materials, and alkali accelerator. CONSTITUTION: The solidified bricks comprise 100pts.wt. of blast furnace sludge, 30-50pts.wt. of solidifier and a mixture of blast furnace slag powder(4000cm¬2/g of surface area) and portland cement in a ratio of 0.25-4.0 as main raw materials, and 1-3pts.wt. of alkali accelerator selected from steelmaking sludge, dolomite sludge, limestone sludge. The solidified bricks are manufactured by mixing the above components, adding water to be a weight ratio of water to solidifier being 0.2-0.5, compression forming and curing for 28days. The resultant bricks have compression strength more than 110kg/cm¬2.</p> |
