biotechnology, veterinary virology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with virus-containing extraembryonic liquid of duck embryos infected with SDEY-76, B- 8/78 strain. Inactivation of viral raw material is conducted with 1.8.3.6-diendomethylene-1.3.6.8-tetroazatricyclodecane at the rate of 1.5-2.0 g preparation/1000 sm3. Hemagglutinin titer of inactivated viral raw material is taken up to 1: 4096 ratio due to adding a sterile buffered physiological solution or analogous viral raw material at a high hemagglutinin titer. Viral raw material is supplemented with an adjuvant based upon mineral oil. The mixture obtained is passed through a colloid mill. The vaccine obtained is used to vaccinate 110- d-aged chickens by injecting per 0.5 sm3 vaccine intramuscularly. When observing the chickens during the period of 21 d no clinical signs of mentioned disease are seen and no alterations are detected at the sites of vaccine injections. Titers of antibodies in chickens' blood serum on the 21st d after vaccination correspond to 1:64 - 1: 312 that indicates immune response providing 100% protection. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
