<p>A card company (43) issues a portable telephone (1) having a card function to a commercial facility (45). The commercial facility (45) customizes the design and function of the portable telephone (1) to its commercial facilities. When a user (41) applies for utilization of card to the commercial facility (45), a portable telephone (1) is issued to the user (41). Upon receiving the portable telephone (1), the user (41) accesses a server (47) by means of the portable telephone (1). Data of articles being sold in that commercial facility (45) is then displayed at the display section (15) of the portable telephone (1). The user can designate and purchase a desired one of displayed articles. The quantity of an article purchased is then subtracted from the quantity data of the article purchased by the user (41) out of the information on articles stored in the server (47).</p> |
