PURPOSE: An intake muffler of compressor is provided to reduce noise flowing back from a cylinder by improving structure of a refrigerant intake pipe and a resonance chamber. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction device is placed in a resonance chamber(61a) to reduce noise due to discharge of refrigerant by separating emission passage of noise generated on discharge of refrigerant and inflow passage of refrigerant flowing into a cylinder head part(70). The noise reduction device includes a plurality of penetrating holes, formed on a periphery of a refrigerant intake pipe(62) placed in the resonance chamber to face with each other for refrigerant to flow in; and a guide part(61c), guiding refrigerant, flowing in through a refrigerant supply pipe, to easily flow into the penetrating holes and preventing noise from diffusing by circulating the noise in the resonance chamber in a single direction.
