PURPOSE: A system and a method for tracking the position of a user of a mobile communication terminal are provided to compare input values received through multiple microphones with one another to track a user's location to adjust the position and distance of a camera and improve sound reception sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: Multiple microphones(21) detect sounds in various directions. A detector(22) detects the level of a sound signal received through the each of the multiple microphones. A modulator(23) digitalizes the level of the detected sound signal. A controller(24) computes intensities of the microphones on the basis of the signal having the highest level to track a user's location so as to determine the position of a camera(27). A driver(25) drives a motor(26) to move the camera under the control of the controller. The camera adjusts its position and distance according to the operation of the motor.
