PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a liquid crystal cell with uniform thickness of liquid crystal layer. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a liquid crystal cell 1 with uniform thickness of liquid crystal layer by injecting the liquid crystal more than a required amount into the liquid crystal cell 1 comprising two substrates placed opposite and stuck to each other, by extruding the excessive liquid crystal by pressurizing the liquid crystal cell 1 and subsequently by end-sealing the liquid crystal injection port 1a, a plurality of the liquid crystal cells 1 in a cassette 2 are simultaneously and uniformly pressurized by using a pressure device provided with a jig 5 to array the liquid crystal cells 1 contained in the cassette 2 and pressurizing bodies 6 to be inserted between the liquid crystal cells 1 in the cassette 2 made to have a shape of which the plate thickness getting thinner as approaching to the bottom and further capable of specifying the order of supplying fluids to the pressurizing bodies 6.
