PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a position of a concrete upper end level when placing concrete. SOLUTION: This concrete placing sensor 1 comprises an installation substrate 4 fixed in a convex-face shape of a certain curvature, a belt-like pressure sensor body 5 detecting a lateral pressure of the struck concrete 8, and a side plate 6 provided such that the side plate 6 surrounds the pressure sensor body 5. The curvature decided with adjusting a relative position between a bolt and an elongate hole 11 formed in the installation substrate 4 is imparted to the installation substrate 4. In that state, the concrete placing sensor 1 is fastened to a concrete placing pipe 7. Side plates each having a height higher than a set height of the pressure sensor body 5 caused by imparting the curvature to the installation substrate 4 are fixed to both side faces of the installation plate 4.
