PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the material involving mechanism of a roll kneader enhancing the dispersibility of a resin material in a lateral direction and a before and behind direction (feed direction) by feeding the strip-like resin material wound around a front roll toward the central part in the axial direction of the front roll while spirally involving the side edge part thereof. SOLUTION: A beam 6 is stretched across the upper ends of a pair of left and right side frames 2 supporting both end parts of front and rear rolls 3 and 4 to be fixed thereto and an electromotor 12 of which the main shaft 12a extends in a before and behind direction is supported on the moving body 13 moving along the guide track 7 of the beam 6. The pinion 14 joined to the rear end of the main shaft 12a is meshed with the rack lever 8 arranged along a guide track 6. The gear 16 of a shaft 17a extending to the axial center of the front roll 3 is meshed with the worm gear 15 connected to the front end of the main shaft 12a and a hand drum-shaped involving roll 18 of which the end surface comes into contact with the peripheral surface of the front roll 3 is joined to the lower end of the shaft 17a.
