PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION OF BLOCK COPOLYMER- ANTICANCER AGENT COMPLEX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical formulation of a block copolymer- anticancer agent complex improving solubility of an anticancer agent having poor solubility to water and having high pharmacological effects which the anticancer agent doesn't possess. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical formulation of the block copolymer- anticancer agent complex is characterized in that a block copolymer having a hydrophilic polymeric structural part obtained by bonding a hydrophobic compound except the anticancer agent to carboxy group which is in a side chain at a polymeric carboxylic acid part of the block copolymer comprising the hydrophilic polymeric structural part and the polymeric carboxylic acid part and a hydrophobia polymeric structural part to which the anticancer agent is not bonded forms a micelle having the hydrophilic polymeric structural part at the outer core and the anticancer agent having poor solubility to water is included in the hydrophobic inner core.
