摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a conventional thrust bearing is not capable of displaying a sufficient bearing characteristic for a machine requesting recent high speed/high load and a steel plate and a bearing alloy can not be reused because an adjustment in thickness of a base metal and a bearing alloy layer is difficult and the bearing alloy sticks to the steel plate of planked scraps in a conventional sintering method for manufacturing the thrust bearing. SOLUTION: In this thrust bearing, the bearing alloy layer is rolled in the circumferential direction. In this sintering method, primary sintering is performed by forming the same shape as that of the thrust bearing from the steel plate to be the base metal and scattering bearing alloy powder on the base metal. After primary rolling is performed in the circumferential direction for the bearing alloy layer, secondary sintering is performed.
