PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature heat storage cooling system in which power consumption can be reduced furthermore by enhancing the efficiency of follow-up operation while shifting or cutting power peak, and a unit cooler suitable for the low temperature heat storage cooling system. SOLUTION: The low temperature heat storage cooling system comprises a heat storage cooling section comprising a heat storage tank 11, a heat storage refrigerating machine 12, a unit cooler 14, a heat storage heat exchanger 15, a heat exchanger circulation pump 17 and a refrigerator side circulation pump 18, and a direct cooling section comprising a follow-up refrigerating machine 31 and a unit cooler 32 for follow-up operation.
