摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multitube heat exchanger wherefrom further decrease in the number of manufacturing processes and further increase in heat exchange efficiency can be expected. SOLUTION: The multitude heat exchanger has groups of inner tubes (heat transfer tubes) through which high-temperature gas or the like passes and an outer tube (trunk) through which cooling water or the like passes. The groups of the heat transfer tubes in a plurality are provided in such a manner that the opposite ends thereof are retained by introduction-side and discharge-side retaining plates positioned on the high-temperature gas introduction side and the high-temperature gas discharge side, respectively. On the wall surface of a high-temperature gas passage 137 of the heat exchanger, projecting plates 140 are formed at prescribed intervals (prescribed pitches) in the longitudinal direction. Vertical vortexes are generated in the high-temperature gas by the projecting plates 140 and the gas is thereby disturbed. The heat exchange efficiency increases consequently.
