PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking method of a film capable of nicely and simply sticking the film on a window glass, sufficiently displaying the function by a functional film such as an insect control film, and incapable of peeling the film by mischief. SOLUTION: In the sticking method of the film to the window glass wherein the glass plate 2 is inserted in a groove part 11 formed on the inner periphery of a window frame 1 to be held by a glass fixing edge member 3, at first, a part positioned in the inner peripheral side of the glass fixing edge member 3 existing in the side in which the film 5 is stuck is cut only by a prescribed width D along the circumferential direction to produce a glass exposed face 22, next, the film 3 is stuck on the whole glass face including the glass exposed face 22, thereafter, the residual part 32 of the glass fixing edge member 3 existing in the side in which the film 3 is stuck pushed in the groove 11, and the outer peripheral edge part 51 of the film 5 is covered by a separate locking member 6, which is inserted in the groove 11.
