REFRACTORY COMPOSITION CONTAINING CARBON

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a refractory composition containing carbon having excellent anti-spalling property and hot strength, as well as antioxidizing property and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The refractory composition primarily consists of 5-30 wt% of carbon based material, and 70-95 wt% of alumina based refractory material. The composition further comprises 1-7 wt% of polycarbosilane polymer powder. The polycarbosilane polymer powder has a particle diameter of 44 micrometer or less. The composition may be used together with binders such as tar pitch and phenol resin excellent in workability on shaping.
