PURPOSE: A wired broadcasting system using a power line is provided to transmit video and audio signals through the power line to a reception station without using an additional wire line. CONSTITUTION: A wired broadcasting system using a power line includes a transmission station(10) for transmitting a broadcasting signal including audio and video signals through a power line, and a reception station(20) for receiving the broadcasting signal. The transmission station includes a signal generator for generating the broadcasting signal, a modulator for modulating the broadcasting signal into a predetermined frequency different from AC power frequency, and an AC power blocking unit for preventing AC power supplied from the power line from being applied to the modulator and transmitting the broadcasting signal sent from the modulator to the power line. The reception station includes an AC power blocking unit for blocking the AC power supplied from the power line and transmitting the broadcasting signal sent from the power line, and a demodulator for demodulating the broadcasting signal to extract the video and audio signals.
