PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin tumbler lock for improving security against the dishonest unlocking by means of a picking tool. SOLUTION: An opened security pin receiving hole 10 is provided to the deepest part of a key hole 8, a security pin 11 stored in the security pin receiving hole 10 is energized to the direction of the key hole 8 by a security pin spring 12 to project the front end 11a of the security pin 11 to the inside of the deepest part of the key hole 8, and the front end of the security pin 11 is pushed back to the security pin receiving hole 10 by the front end edge 13 of a key hole 8.
