PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device simplified in the assembling structure and capable of reducing the affection of heat to a bag body when a fire is generated in an inflater. SOLUTION: The bag body 10 and the inflater 16 of the air bag device are fixed to the inside of a retainer 20 by a bag plate 40. The bag plate 40 has a semicircular arch part 42 and flange parts 41 formed in both edges of the arch part 42. In the arch part 42 of the bag plate part 40, a bead 42A projecting inward is formed outside a round opening 47. In a state of assembling, the bead 42A line-contacts with the cylindrical peripheral part 17 of the inflater 16. A direct contact area between the bag plate 40 and the cylindrical peripheral surface 17 of the inflater 16 is reduced by the bead 42A, and a clearance is formed between them, and the heat to be generated when operating the inflater 16 is hard to be transmitted to the bag plate 40. |
