PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent diagnosis kit for a disease resulting from arteriosclerosis. SOLUTION: Taking denatured remnant lipoprotein (denatured IDL) resulting from denaturation of remnant lipoprotein (IDL) in blood and denatured low- density lipoprotein (denatured IDL: oxidized LDL is also included) resulting from denaturation of low-density lipoprotein in blood as subjects of measurement, measurement is carried out by using an antibody recognizing aldehyde formed in the denatured LDL, or an anti-4-hydroxy-2-nonanol antibody reactive with the oxidized LDL and a complex of oxidized LDL and protein, an anti- malonidialdehyde antibody, or an anti-acrolein antibody.
