PURPOSE: A device for controlling purge gas of a vehicle and a control method thereof is provided to improve the control performance for the air fuel ratio by an electrical control means and reduce the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling purge gas of a vehicle comprises a pressure detecting unit(22) for detecting the pressure of the purge gas in a fuel tank of the vehicle having a fuel gauge, an electrical control unit(20) for controlling the air amount injected into a combustion chamber of the vehicle according to the pressure of the purge gas detected by the pressure detecting unit, a canister(23) collecting and storing the purge gas in the fuel tank, a pressure control unit opened or shut off by the control signal of the electrical control unit to control the pressure of the canister while the purge gas generated in the fuel tank is flowed in the canister, and a purge inflow control unit(25) opened or shut off by the control signal of the electrical control unit so that transferring the purge gas stored in the canister to the combustion chamber.
