PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve condensability of a condenser by effectively utilizing the latent heat of condensed water. SOLUTION: Upstream side of the drain splash direction, shown by arrow A, in each fin 40 of the condenser, is constituted of a bent portion 40B which has been formed by a bending processing. As the bent portion 40B is formed, so that bending lines 44A, 44B are inclined downward from the upstream to the downstream of the splash direction, when the condensed water is splashed against the condenser from a slinger ring, the condensed water collides with the fin 40 and a portion of the collided condensed water (mainly the condensed water that has collided against the vicinity of the trough line 44A) runs down along the line 44A so as to be retained by a boundary portion 43 between the bent potion 40B and a normal flat portion 40A. Accordingly, all condensed water retained is evaporated, and thus consumption of the latent heat contributes to the condensation of refrigerant. In this way, condensability of the condenser can be improved, by effectively utilizing the latent heat of the condensed water. |
