PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a bearing housing for holding a sensor for detecting bearing speed. SOLUTION: In the bearing housing 3 having a speed measuring device incorporated with a sensor 12 disposed so as to detect rotational speed of a shaft 1 supported by a bearing 2 within the bearing housing 3 and disposed so as to detect at least a marking rotating together with the shaft 1 and having a cable 14 connected to an external evaluating device, the marking exists within the bearing housing 3 and is an uneven surface part 17 of a part 9 rotating together with the shaft 1 intended to carry out an another mechanical purpose.
