PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile to which a thermoplastic resin foam is stuck, with a capability of retaining long-lasting woody touch, design effect and heat insulation properties without fear about the release of the thermoplastic resin foam due to the use of the profile for a long time. SOLUTION: When the thermoplastic resin foam 1 is rolled by a rolling means after the extrusion of the foam 1 from an extruder 10 and shaped continuously with the help of a pressurizing molding roll 22, the surface temperature of the foam 1 is adjusted to be above the softening point of the resin and below the highest temperature at which a hot melt adhesive 3 can be used, and the foam 1 is stuck on the surface of the profile 2 using the hot melt adhesive 3. Thus the surface cells break when the foam 1 is stuck under pressure on the surface of the profile 2 through the hot melt adhesive 3 and a 40-200μm wide recessed part is formed at an interval of 1,000μm or less on the surface of the foam 1. Consequently, it is possible to manufacture, with high productivity, the profile to which the thermoplastic resin foam is stuck, with a vein pattern and a texture (the feel of a natural wood) which are extremely approximate to the natural wood.
