PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for protecting ecosystem, especially batrachian such as frog and/or sneak got into a flume duct and to escape such animals from the flume duct installed to supply water to desired places. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a cross bar secured at upper end of both side walls of a flume duct; a top plate(20) closely contacting to uppermost portion of inner side wall of the flume duct; a rising plate(30) having top end inclined and arranged at the top plate by a hinge to downstream of the flume duct and having bottom end placed at floor of the flume duct to form a moderate slope of ecosystemic route from the floor to the top plate of the flume duct. The rising plate(30) further includes a variable component to make its length varied along depth of the floor and a hook portion formed at its upper end extending across the cross bar and hinged with the cross bar.
