PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air heat exchanger of which the heat exchange performance is improved by lessening the occupation area of heat transfer tubes to an effective front area as small as possible with the effective front area ensured sufficiently and of which the product cost is reduced effectively by facilitating a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A plurality of flat heat transfer tubes 4, 4... having a plurality of flow holes 4a, 4a... inside are juxtaposed vertically, while corrugated fins 5, 5... are provided between the flat heat transfer tubes 4, 4.... Refrigerant lead-out and lead-in headers 2 and 3 are provided above and below the flat heat transfer tubes 4, 4.... Consequently, the main body 1 of the air heat exchanger of having a wide effective front area and a reduced number of heat transfer tubes and having a longitudinally long structure of an aspect ratio 1.6 or more is formed.
